The opposition continues to increase pressure on Orbach: The bill to dissolve the Knesset will go to a vote on Wednesday. The coalition has decided to support two laws of the opposition.
The opposition finally decided: despite the fear of a ruse by the opposition Arab Joint List to vote against the law and thus be rejected six months ahead, the bill to dissolve the Knesset will go to a vote in the plenum this coming Wednesday, in order to create more pressure on MK Nir Orbach.
The Likud opposed the bill being put to a vote at first, but MK Bezalel Smutrich (Religious Zionism) said on the other hand that the bill can always be withdrawn if there is a real fear that the Joint LIst will vote with the government. In the meantime, the bill will create additional pressure on Orbach to dissolve the Knesset.
