Jordanian Islamic endowment minister Muhammad Khalaila announced today that the King of Jordan has ordered an increase in the bonus for Al-Aqsa Mosque workers in Jerusalem from 300% to 400% of their base salary. The minister also said that the king had ordered the purchase of fireproof rugs for the mosque.

A few months ago, it was reported in Jordan that the number of people employed in the mosque was 850 and that the budget of the Ministry of Endowments for the mosque was about $ 17 million.
