The Legal Adviser to the Government authorized the police to investigate with a warning Jewish Knesset member Ofer Kasif from the Joint List who was recorded beating a policeman. Asif is expected to be investigated in the coming days.

Last May Kasif arrived with his car when two policemen stopped his car. He got out of the vehicle and hit the officer on the head. At this point, a confrontation developed between the two, during which Casif shouted at the policeman that he has immunity due to being a member of the Knesset.
