A coronavirus outbreak was reported over the last 24 hours in an Israel Air Force base in Tel Nof near Rehovot.

Among the infected are two commanders who are not part of the air squadron personnel, 8 soldiers in regular service and several children living in the families’ residential area in the base.

All those who came in contact with the ill were put into quarantine, as required by the Health Ministry and Medical Corps’ instructions.

In a separate case, another outbreak was detected in a research division at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
