Morocco is currently suffering from rising energy prices in the world as it is an importer of energy inputs, but it is possible that soon all this is about to change. A British company has announced that it has discovered a reservoir totaling over 1 billion barrels of oil. 

This is a discovery on the shores of Anzkan opposite the city of Agadir. The company called "Europe Oil & Gas" claims that the production looks without special risks.
 
The company received the concession about three years ago and began drilling about a year ago on an area of over 11,000 square kilometers in water. The British company expects much greater potential as it claims this exploration area is almost completely new
