Saudi Arabia-led coalition thwarts a planned wave of attacks by inferno boats against shipping lanes in the Red Sea

The efforts of the Saudi-led Arab coalition, which has contributed to the defense of shipping routes and world trade in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the southern Red Sea.

Saturday, the Saudi-led Arab coalition announced that it had attacked a site for assembling remotely controlled explosive devices in the area of the coast of Hudaydah in northwestern Yemen.

The coalition added that four booby-trapped boats were destroyed in the al-Jabana naval camp in al-Jabaneh in Khodaydeh even before they had time to go out and carry out planned attacks in the near future.

The coalition added that its efforts had contributed "to the protection of shipping lines and international trade in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and in the southern Red Sea."

In another context, the coalition announced on Friday that more than 92 Houthis had been killed in 31 operations carried out on the front of al-Juba and al-Qassara in the Marib province.

On Thursday, the coalition announced a military operation in Sanaa aimed at deterring the Houthis from attacking civilian targets in Saudi Arabia, while promising to hit "an iron fist under international humanitarian law."
