The Jordanian king's daughter is engaged to a young man of Greek descent
The Jordanian royal court announced on Wednesday the engagement of Princess Iman, daughter of Jordan's King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, to Jamil Alexander Tramauts, of Greek descent.
In a post on his official Twitter account, the Royal Hashemite Court congratulated "Her Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn al-Hussein and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah on the engagements of Her Majesty Princess Iman Binat Abdullah II and Mr. Jamil Alexander Termotas."
He also wished them a life full of happiness and contentment.
The statement said the engagement ceremony was held on Tuesday, in the presence of Jordanian King Abdullah II, his wife Queen Rania, heir to Hussein bin Abdullah II, Princes Hashem and Selma, in addition to a number of Jamil Alexander family members.
