Hamas took advantage of the month of Ramadan and took over the Muslim community of worshipers on the Temple Mount. This is a dangerous development that harms Israeli sovereignty and Jordan's religious status on the Temple Mount, Hamas is a terrorist organization and Israel and Jordan must cooperate against it.

Anyone who examines the current situation on the Temple Mount will soon discover that Hamas is the de facto dominant place in cooperation with another extremist Islamic body called Hezb al-Tahrir. 

Officially Israel is the political and security sovereign with the presence of a police station on the Temple Mount, alongside the Jordanian Waqf on its institutions that officially manages the compound in accordance with the peace agreement between Israel and Jordan.

But it is Hamas that rules over the people and gives the order - and the Hamas movement is a terrorist organization.
