Increased Golani presence during holidays in Judea & Samaria
Following the fear of terrorist attacks in the Judea and Samaria region, it was decided that the fighters in the sector would be released to their homes every 17 days, instead of 11.

Starting today (Friday), Golani patrol forces will reinforce the Samaria sector for a week ahead of Rosh Hashanah and the Tishrei holidays, in accordance with the assessment of the situation in the IDF and against the background of the fear of terrorist attacks. Later, it will be decided whether to reinforce the area with additional forces.
