It has been officially announced that Yamam paramedic, Major Noam Raz, from the Benyamin town of Kida and a father of 6, has died of his severe wounds he received this morning in Jenin when he was shot by a Palestinian sniper.

In the operational activity that took place this morning to capture the wanted man Mahmoud al-Daba'i, a veteran commando fighter in the Israel National Anti-Terrorism Unit was killed. 

The fighter, 47 years old, and served 23 years in the YAMAM unit. He was married and father of 6 children served as a paramedic and had saved the life of a senior commander in a unit who was seriously wounded a few weeks ago in operational activity.

The "Yamam" is the unit of execution of the General Security Service, and its fighters are very experienced in capturing terrorists in real time.

The members of the unit have worked professionally and prevented thousands of terrorist attacks in the State of Israel, and they operate around the clock to capture wanted persons in accordance with the intelligence of the General Security Service.
