The company 'Resume Builder' conducted a survey of attitudes among employers for the reception of Jewish job candidates. The survey that encompassed 1131 respondents demonstrated alarming results regarding the prevalence of anti-Semitism in the US.
26% of hiring managers say they are less likely to advance with Jewish candidates;
The main reason for negative bias is the belief that Jews have too much power and control
26% make assumptions about the candidate being Jewish based on his appearance.
23% say they want fewer Jews in their industry.
17% say the management told them not to hire Jews.
33% say that anti-Semitism is common in their workplace.
29% say that anti-Semitism is acceptable in their society.
