Television station ‘shocked and deeply concerned’ that threats to life have been made by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
Telegraph reports that the London police had uncovered an assassination squad sent by Iran to London to kill two British reporters working for a Persian-language television station based in the United Kingdom.
Iran International TV said Monday that anti-terror officers in the capital’s police had identified “fatal threats” against two journalists working for the channel.
In a statement, the channel accused the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of targeting two of its reporters, in a “dangerous escalation” of Tehran’s campaign of intimidation, as it put it.
