There have been calls on social media to demonstrate in Egypt today, Nov 11. Though not said, it is quite clear that these calls are coming from the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood.
In Egypt there were calls on social networks to demonstrate against the government on 11/11 during the climate conference that Egypt is hosting in Sharm el-Sheikh in South Sinai.
At night, opposition parties and those affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood circulated videos on social media purportedly of demonstrations in several locations, but the media in Egypt claimed that these were cooked-up and old videos that had been uploaded to show that there was a response to the calls.
The government announcement reminded their citizens that the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization and an enemy of Egypt.
