Sources in Lebanon claim that on Wednesday evening contact was lost with a group of Hezbollah fighters who were in a vehicle near the border with Syria. The vehicle left the Asal Alord area in the direction of Al-Mahba. After no contact was made, Hezbollah sent a force to the area to conduct scans but to no avail.
Checkpoints were set up in the area and no vehicles were found.
It should be noted that in recent days tensions have risen in villages in the border area between Syria and Lebanon after residents claimed that Hezbollah members had entered the villages and damaged the residents' property.
