While the university allowed the 'Nakba Day' demonstration, Jewish students arrived on campus with Israeli flags shouting "shame" 

The university prevented residents with Israeli flags from entering the place claiming to "maintain public peace".

The mayor of Be'er Sheva attacked the university: "We all are ashamed and angry, bereaved families in the city look and what you allowed and do not believe"
