Following an intelligence activity by the Shin Bet, the Nahal Patrol went out this morning in a joint activity with the Shin Bet to arrest a wanted terrorist in the village of Kabatia in the sector of the Menasha regional division. During the activity, stones were thrown and an explosive device was thrown at the forces.
The wanted person who was arrested is Muhammad Abu Zina, born in 1995, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp, an activist of the Islamic Jihad organization and a former prisoner who was recently released in August 2022.
Immediately upon his release, Muhammad returned to significant terrorist activity, in the framework of which he worked to finance and arm military GAP infrastructure throughout northern Samaria.
Muhammad was transferred to the Shin Bet investigation.
No casualties to our forces.
