Last night, MK and Ra'am Mansour Abbas leader said in an inteview:
"The State of Israel was born as a Jewish state and will remain so".

To this came the reply from the leader of the "The Joint List" MK Odeh: 
"We are members of this homeland, citizens by right, and we will act so that the state is equal and democratic."

In Israel many voices were heard that welcomed the Ra'am leader in his statement, as if it meant the acceptance of the Jewish state of Israel. 
Doctor Moti Kedar who is an expert on Arab affairs (and is the VP of NEWSRAEL) had this to say which "says much, in so few words":

"I do not understand the debate here at all. 

Is it unclear to anyone what Abbas and Odeh are arguing about? 

Mansour Abbas, as is the custom of the Muslim Brotherhood, is looking for a way to abolish the existence of the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people through Islamic means (jihad Madani (civil jihad), takiya (= deception), khudaa (deception).

While Ayman Odeh the Ahmadi (= Non-Muslim) is looking for a national way - Palestinian / Arab - to abolish the existence of the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people. 

Jews and others are divided into three groups: 

1. Those who understand the above. 
2. Innocents who do not understand the motivation and are willing to act and cooperate with one of the parties in the argument or with both.
3. Innocents who through "wishful thinking" act as if they do not understand."
