Tel Aviv University President Prof. Porat Beck wrote in an official statement:

"Regarding the 'Nakba Day riots: We received inquiries from students who are afraid to come to the campus or dormitories.
We will take a tough hand against anyone who harms or endangers the peace of his fellow students."
