"We have submitted our demands - the ball is in Israel's hands."

A member of the Hamas political bureau and in charge of the movement's prisoner portfolio, Zohar Jabarin, announced last night that the Hamas organization had presented the mediators with a proposal to complete the prisoner exchange, emphasizing that the ball is now in Israel's hands.

This morning it was revealed that Hamas' proposal includes two options. When one of them is a single-stage transaction or an option for a two-stage transaction:

Hamas proposed a one-stage deal that includes: the release of all prisoners re-arrested in the Shalit deal, the release of all women, the release of all children and the release of patients, and thousands of more dangerous prisoners with blood on their hands.

A senior Israeli security official said: "No deal involving prisoners with blood on their hands will take place."
