Netanyahu to Mandelblit: "Your Inaction Allows my Blood to be Shed" The demonstrations against PM Netanyahu have recently escalated, as he has received death threats against him and his family, most likely by extreme left-wing protesters. Netanyahu expected that the Attorney General, Avichai Mandelblit, will take action in response to these threats, but no measures have been taken so far. As a result Netanyahu sent Mandelblit a letter, calling out his lack of response. “Your inaction in face of the threats to murder my family and me and of rape of my wife”, wrote Netanyahu, “is no less than outragesly allowing our blood to be shed”. “I want to believe that unlike all your previous answers”, continued the Prime Minister, “this time a proper response will be received from you and not another bureaucratic rejection letter”.
