Lithuania Declares Hezbollah a Terrorist Organization The Lithuanian government has decided today to recognize Hezbollah and all its branches as a terrorist organization. By doing so, Lithuania has become the fourth European country to declare Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, after the UK, Germany and the Netherlands have done the same. Linas Linkevičius, the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement that he released, that “Hezbollah uses terror in a way that threatens Lithuania too”. Gabi Ashkenazi, Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke this morning with his Lithuanian counterpart, thanked him for his country’s action and called upon more European countries to do the same.
