Letter to the UN Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, wrote a letter to UN Security Council members. The letter calls into question the Security Council’s existence on the bases that they did not prevent Hezbollah's attacks against Israel and the organization's military establishment in southern Lebanon. Along with the letter, Erdan passed on pictures of the weapon that were left behind by a Hezbollah squad that infiltrated Israeli territory in the Har Dov area a few weeks ago. Edran also posted on twitter: “UNIFIL is supposed to prevent such infiltrations. If it cannot stop Hezbollah from turning southern Lebanon into a terrorist base, then its purpose must be questioned.
