Gal Hirsch, has issued a statement regarding the historic peace deal between Israel and Sudan: “The peace deal with Sudan, which was considered to be an enemy state, is a great achievement! Everyone who is and was involved in the defense of Israel, the Jewish Ethiopian immigration to Israel and the war on terror knows how important it is to bring Sudan away from the circle of fighting and from supporting Iran and terrorism in general. How unfortunate it is that in the general mayhem we as a nation cannot find a way to be excited about the “domino effect” that is the peace process that we are experiencing. More and more Arab countries are joining the Abraham Accords. I want to take this opportunity to congratulate President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and commend those who support them quietly behind the scenes. “Seek peace and pursue it” and may Israel know even more peace”.
