Will Kushner Secure Peace Between Israel and Saudi Arabia? President Trump's Senior Advisor Jared Kushner will reportedly visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar this week in an effort to broker more diplomatic pacts with Israel. Kushner was the primary Trump administration participant in talks regarding the Middle East Peace Process, leading to the signing of the historic Abraham Accords between Israel, Bahrain and the UAE. While President Trump hinted that Saudi Arabia may be the next Gulf state to normalize relations with Israel, no visible progress has been made on the front. Not even a secret visit by Netanyahu last week managed to make much progress. Though the Saudis have showed interest in a peace deal with Israel, specifically Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, they are reportedly reluctant to continue negotiations due to the possibility of Joe Biden becoming president.
