Israel Sends Much Needed Aid to Honduras after Hurricane The Home Front Command and the State Department have been assisting cities in northwestern Honduras for three days that have been hit by the hurricane damage that has befallen Central American countries, closely accompanied by domestic senior officials. The Government of Honduras has applied for assistance from the Home Front Command in due to Israel’s, and the Home Front Command in particular, track record in dealing with international emergencies. Under the direction of Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, the delegation arrived in Honduras on Wednesday. As part of the aid given, professional and technological tools developed by the State of Israel in recent years have been used. The delegation mapped the disaster areas and its activities focus on the cities that were hit the hardest.
