Belgium vs its Jewish Citizens Circumcision, also known as “Brit Milah” in Hebrew, has been a Jewish law and tradition for thousands of years, with Abraham being the first person in history to do so. Ever since, Jews all over the world have been practicing circumcision with their eight-day-old sons. Last week, Kosher slaughtering, which is obligatory according to the Jewish law in the preparation of meat, was banned in Belgium.
