Today is International Mother Language Day! For centuries, the Biblical and holy Hebrew language, one with roots dating back more than 3,000 years, lay dormant; it was not a spoken language. A hundred and fifty years ago, the language revitalized. Today, in the State of Israel, more than 9 million people speak Hebrew and, for the majority of them, it’s their mother tongue!
