Israeli Nurse Delivers Arab Woman's Baby After Horrible Car Crash This week, an Arab woman from eastern Jerusalem was seriously injured in a bad car accident. She arrived at Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center along with her four-month-old baby who was also in the crash, but the baby refused to eat. The woman's family did everything to try and get the baby to eat, but nothing worked. Upon realizing what had happened, Yael Cohen, a Jewish nurse from Gush Etzion who herself is a nursing mother, asked the baby's aunt if it would be okay to nurse the baby, and the aunt eagerly accepted Yael's offer. Yael nursed the baby who immediately calmed down and ate hungrily. The baby's uncle later told Ynet news: "When we understood that the baby was finally nursing after many hours of crying because she did not eat, we wanted to say thank you to this nurse from Hadassah. It's not something that every woman would do, it's not something that's easy to do for a baby who is not yours, and thanks to her the baby ate and calmed down." Source: Im Tirzu ??
