Israel Reopens Ahead of Lag B’Omer
In light of encouraging morbidity rates in Israel, officials of the Health Ministry began Monday to layout further lifting of Covid-19 measures ahead of the Jewish holiday of Lag B’Omer and the summer.
The easing of regulations will primarily focus on increased capacity for gatherings, as significant alterations in the education ministry are not expected until the end of the year.
After Passover, the capsules policy for third graders will be canceled and cap limits on gyms, events halls and outdoor gatherings will be increased.
Lag B’Omer is a one-day holiday traditionally celebrated by lighting bonfires across Israel through the night.
