PM's Office: Expected release of Edan Alexander enabled by our firm policy
On Monday, the Prime Minister's Office announced that the anticipated release of IDF soldier Edan Alexander without concessions stems from a resolute policy, supported by President Trump, and bolstered by the military pressure applied by IDF.

The statement clarified, "Israel has not agreed to a ceasefire or the release of terrorists, only to a safe corridor to ensure Edan’s release."
It further noted, "We are at a pivotal moment with a deal on the table for Hamas that could secure the release of our hostages.
