Belarusian opposition sources reported that a Russian A-50 AEW&C early warning plane blew up this morning at the military airport in Molishchi.
According to the "Belarusian Union of Security Officers" (BYPOL), the front and middle parts of the plane, avionics and radar antenna were damaged.
"The damage is huge, and the plane definitely can't fly anywhere anymore. The accident happened while snowplows were operating near the plane. […] The Belarusian partisans are consistent in expelling the fascists from their land," BYPOL reported.
Explosions occurred at the Makhulichi Air Base in Minsk Oblast, Belarus on Sunday morning.
Local residents reported hearing two explosions around 8:00-9:00 and may have heard another explosion during the night.
