Qaradawi, who is considered the most influential man in the Muslim world, was an enthusiastic supporter of the Palestinian issue and of terrorist activity against Israeli targets.

Qaradawi was the one who permitted, from a Sharia-Islamic point of view, the activity of Palestinian suicide terrorists and the killing of Israeli citizens even though they are not military personnel.
