WATCH: Jihadists threaten to turn France into 'Francestan'

A new video circulating online shows jihadists threatening France, accusing its leadership of corruption and weakness, and vowing to transform the country into an Islamic state. In the footage, the group appears with a Palestinian flag behind them as they rip apart the French tricolore.

The threats come amid French President Emmanuel Macron’s consideration of recognizing a Palestinian state, a move that critics argue ignores growing Islamist threats at home.

“Before recognizing a state that does not exist, Macron should ensure his own country still does,” commentators charged.
