First publication: The GSS located a new Hamas terrorist infrastructure in the Hebron area that was operated from abroad. Palestinian sources received an update from Israel. 

The cell had activly taken part in shooting attacks whose four members have been arrested in recent weeks in the village of Zurif near Hebron.

They were seized with an M16 rifle and a sum of NIS 17,000 intended to finance and carry out shooting attacks. In addition it was found out that the squad received its orders from from Turkey from 'Abd a-Rahman Ranimat, originally himself a resident of Zurif, who headed the Zurif Squad in the 1990s and was released in the Shalit deal a decade ago. 

One of the members of the cell is the brother of another released man in the Shalit deal who was deported to Gaza and also played a role in directing the cell from there. 

This past weekend, the IDF and GSS interrogated more than 20 Palestinians in the village of Zurif and warned them not to contact the squad activators from Turkey and Gaza. 

The GSS coordinators in the Hebron area posted a warning on Facebook, accompanied by photos of Ranimat and the members of the cell that were arrested. Also, leaflets were scattered in the village itself, including the same warning.
