It is not yet clear who is behind the disappearance of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, the Chabad emissary in Abu Dhabi. 

It cannot be ruled out that Iranian elements are behind the act, but one thing is clear, Tehran will try to make every effort to distance itself from the matter due to the importance it attaches to relations with the Emirates. 

The two countries have complex relations, although the common interest is growing.
