The drama at Ben Gurion Airport
Just before he fled the country, detectives from the Central Unit of the Lachish Police District managed to arrest a resident of Ashkelon in his 60s, as a suspect in the murder of a young woman in her 20s, whose body was found last Monday, under the cliff of the 'National Park' on the beach in Ashkelon, according to a report this morning (Sunday).
The suspect was arrested at the ticket counter at Ben Gurion Airport for a short time, before carrying out his plot to flee the country. As may be recalled, on December 23, 2024, the police's 100 hotline received a report about the body of a young woman lying under the cliff of the 'National Park' on the beach in Ashkelon.
Large police forces from the Ashkelon station and the Lachish area arrived at the scene and identification investigators began collecting findings, closing the scene and investigating the incident, with all directions of investigation being examined.
