A Lebanese political analyst speaking on an Arab YouTube program openly endorsed the destruction of both Israel and the United Arab Emirates, while also making sweeping accusations against Egypt and Gulf states regarding the Gaza war.
In a December 5, 2025 appearance on Roula Nasr’s YouTube show, Lebanese political analyst Ismail Al-Najjar said the US is fully aware that a “big war” with Iran is approaching—one that, he claimed, would erase the Arab Gulf states and force America out of the Middle East. Al-Najjar declared that he supports annihilating the UAE just as he supports annihilating Israel, later qualifying that he was referring to the UAE’s political regime rather than its people.
Al-Najjar accused the UAE of failing to provide even “a single loaf of bread” to Gazans, while alleging that it instead sent tens of thousands of truck convoys by land supplying food to Israel. He further claimed that Egypt opened its border to tens of thousands of Israelis fleeing the war, housed them in the most luxurious hotels, and that Arab Gulf countries paid the costs. At the same time, he asserted, Egypt prevented even a bottle of water from entering Gaza.
NEWSRAEL: WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
This rhetoric highlights the normalization of explicit calls for annihilation against Israel and pro-Western Arab states within parts of Arab media discourse. Such statements also reflect ongoing efforts to delegitimize the Abraham Accords countries and Egypt by portraying them as complicit with Israel, while reinforcing a narrative that frames regional conflict as inevitable and apocalyptic.
