WATCH: Jerusalem police and fire rescue battle a forest fire

Jerusalem district police and fire and rescue forces battling a forest fire that broke out last week near the settlements of Shoava and Givat Yaarim.

There was no danger to the settlements and the firefighters together with the firefighting planes of the "Elad" squadron worked to put out the fire.

One lane out of three on Highway 1 toward Jerusalem was blocked to traffic.
