Weapons, money and passports: Libyan leader was behind the assassination of the 1972 Munich Olympics and assisted it from a distance.

Testimonies of the Palestinian terrorists who survived the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics say that one of the people behind the attack was Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. 

He provided them with passports, money and weapons and after the attack - sent five million dollars to Yasser Arafat, who headed the PLO.

Libya had used its diplomatic mail to deliver weapons to its embassy in each country. The weapon was transferred to the Libyan embassy in Bonn, Germany, from where it was transferred to terrorists in Munich.
