Mossad chief Roman Gofman visited Washington around July 8–9 for a series of high-level diplomatic and security meetings focused on Iran.

Gofman met CIA Director John Ratcliffe and senior White House officials to discuss the ongoing conflict, Iran’s nuclear program and intelligence coordination between Israel and the United States.

The visit came shortly before the latest escalation involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz and was Gofman’s first official foreign trip since taking office on June 2.
