The visit began with an opening event at the Foreign Ministry, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, and U.S. representatives addressed the gathering.

Sa’ar used the occasion to criticize Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and members of his government, accusing them of encouraging violence. He warned that the normalization of political violence threatens democratic values and must end immediately. 

The bipartisan delegation will hold policy discussions, high-level meetings, and tours across Israel.
