A British Shi’ite Islamic scholar, Ali Raza Rizvi, claimed in a Friday sermon delivered in London that Israel’s Knesset was forced to allow soldiers to commit acts of rape against women and children in order to motivate them to fight in Gaza.
Speaking at a mosque in Croydon, Rizvi contrasted what he described as Shi’ite moral conduct with his allegations against Israel, asserting that such actions would never occur among Shi’ites. He further claimed that Israeli lawmakers supposedly debated and approved such behavior to ensure soldiers would agree to participate in combat operations.
