Take the recent “No Kings” demonstrations across the US. Organizers boasted about drawing one million participants, with some claiming even higher numbers. But in a nation of roughly 350 million people, even one million represents a small minority. A loud one, yes—but still a minority.
And yet, this minority exerts outsized influence.
