50 pilots and air crew members in a letter to the Chief of Staff, the Minister of Defense and the Ministry of Defense: "oppose refusals, ready to immediately return to operational service"
The "Pilots for Good" forum, which brings together over 50 pilots who recently completed operational service as pilots in the Air Force and most of them serve in the reserves in the Air Force, addressed a letter to the Chief of Staff, the Commander of the Air Force and the Minister of Defense.
In their letter, the pilots clarify that:
"After many conversations with squadron commanders in the IDF, and even more senior ranks, it was made clear to us that the service of the reserve formation of the air crew members is not in doubt at all."
The pilots made it clear that "We undertake to respond to the call to return to active reserve service as operational pilots and to stand up to defend the State of Israel and its citizens in accordance with the law, regardless of the identity of the government."
