The forces of the Southern Brigade under the Gaza Division Command (143), Yahalom fighters and the Gaza Division's engineering unit, completed an operation last month to destroy terror infrastructure and underground routes in the center of the Gaza Strip.

As part of the operation, the forces uncovered and destroyed two underground offensive tunnels in the area.

One of the tunnels has several exit shafts and inside it were found rooms for sleeping, food, weapons and other services that were used by Hamas' military wing terrorists. The forces sealed the tunnel by pouring concrete.
