NEWSRAEL: Iran is struggling to strengthen its main proxy - the Hezbollah in Syria, but is facing a breakdown in the Lebanese terrorist organization as many wish to return to Lebanon in face of their walloping by Israel.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has initiated secret military operations near the Ain Ali base in the Al-Quriyah desert, situated in the eastern outskirts of Deir Ezzor, as reported by Deir Ezzor24 Network.
Sources indicate that the IRGC has relocated personnel previously stationed at the Ain Ali base and the Al-Rahba castle in the Al-Mayadeen desert. This includes the transfer of fighters to the Al-Tala'i camp, which is overseen by the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. Additionally, 25 other members were moved to the town of Al-Hari in the Al-Bukamal district. The reasons behind these movements remain unclear.
Furthermore, the IRGC has intensified efforts to clamp down on information leaks regarding its operations. Recently, eight individuals suspected of disseminating information about the militia's activities were arrested in various locations across Al-Mayadeen and are currently detained at a facility in the Al-Tammo neighborhood.
