WATCH: Trump says he will have anti-Israel NY mayoral candidate Mamdani arrested if he interferes with ICE

Many in the Jewish community in New York expressed dismay at the news of Mamdani’s victory, who has repeatedly refused to denounce the slogan “globalize the intifada” in protests

US President Donald Trump warned on social media that he would have socialist, anti-Israel mayoral candidate Zohan Mamdani arrested if he interferes with US Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE).

Speaking at the “Alligator Alcatraz” migrant detention center in Florida, Trump said that if Mamdani, who has criticized the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, “We’ll have to arrest him.”

This isn’t the first time Trump has spoken harshly about the mayoral candidate.
