Reports are emerging of heavy Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in and around Bushehr, a highly sensitive region that includes Iran’s only operational nuclear power facility.
While details remain limited, international monitoring has already confirmed that recent strikes in the area landed extremely close to the nuclear plant—within roughly 75 meters—though no direct damage to the facility itself has been reported so far.
The strikes appear to be part of a broader and intensifying Israeli campaign against key Iranian infrastructure, including energy and military targets across the country.
Iranian officials have warned that repeated attacks near Bushehr carry severe risks, including potential radioactive consequences, as tensions between Israel, Iran, and the US continue to escalate sharply.
