Some outlets rightfully recognized it as a PR stunt, with activists filming TikToks while reports claimed the "aid" onboard included drugs and condoms. Many media outlets simply repeated the press release without asking who’s behind and funding these flotillas.
The next flotilla is already being planned, backed by the Turkish group behind the 2010 Mavi Marmara, which led to deadly clashes with Israeli soldiers.
The bottom line? No flotilla is going to reach Gaza. If aid was the true intention, proper channels could be used. This is about the optics, and making Israel look like the villain.
