Al-Arabi Al-Jadid newspaper from Iraqi security sources: In recent days, American drones have increased their presence in the skies over the border areas between Iraq and Syria.
This is being done in order to monitor the smuggling of weapons or fighters from Iraq to Syrian territory. One of the sources said that the US prohibits any activity that supports the axis of resistance.
According to the sources, American drones have been operating for several days in the skies over the city of Ramadi and west of it, up to the border with Syria.
They fly at a medium height so that they can be noticed - and are intended to monitor the borders and the convoys towards Syria, which may include IRGC and Iran-proxy troops.
